I listened to the radio.

I listened to NPR today. There was an in depth news coverage of a new pharmaceutical, the name of which I've already forgotten but apparently was going to save mucho lives. Then there was a story about playland at IKEA wherein the name IKEA was repeated thirty times and TARGET twice. Then there was "news at the top of the hour" which was a report that the DOW JONES went up four points accompanied by peppy piano music. That was apparently the news. Then a feature about a new flu sweeping the nation which requires a flu shot for "millions of arms". Well somebody has to manufacture a million doses I wonder if it was IKEA or TARGET. Then there was a feature on Frank McCourt's death, and how "wildly popular" Angela's Ashes made him...he was quite the draw on the lecture circuit.

Am I crazy? Is this what "liberal news" is?

Mr. Curmudgeous signing ooot.

By the way this guy died.

I wonder if he covered a playland on the evening news.
